Continuing a bad policy makes it his. He had two years of a Democrat Congress to do pretty much whatever he wanted. Can’t blame Dubya when President Downgrade is doing the same exact thing, and then making it worse to boot.
While we’re at it, I don’t get this obsession with assigning blame liberals have as pertains to Obama’s piss-poor policy record. Nobody’s laying the blame exclusively at President Downgrade’s feet. I’m happy to admit he was handed a mess. At no point in my curation of this blog have I ever implied that Republicans don’t have their share of accountability. But that’s not the point. Having someone to point the finger at doesn’t solve the problem, and Bambi is making a bad situation worse—a bad situation he was elected on promises of fixing. That he has to own, and that you can’t blame on his predecessors.
